- COMPANY BACKGROUND
Who We Are
Chosen Wood Window Maintenance has been restoring historic wood windows for over 25 years, with offices in Oregon and Washington. We've completed projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond on a wide range of historic buildings.
We're a full-service restoration contractor, and the products featured on this site come directly from that work. They've been developed through real projects and refined over time in the field. Our experience working on historic buildings has given us a clear understanding of what performs well, what meets preservation requirements, and what's practical to install and maintain. That knowledge is built into what we offer.

A National Historic Landmark built by the Works Progress Administration in 1937. One of the most recognised examples of Cascadian architecture in the United States.

Crater Lake National Park, Oregon
A historic backcountry lodge within one of America's most visited National Parks. Restoration work required meeting the exacting standards of both the National Park Service and preservation oversight bodies.
Fort Yellowstone
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
A National Historic Landmark and the administrative headquarters of America's first national park. The Army's work at Fort Yellowstone between 1886 and 1918 directly shaped the conservation policies and organisational principles that led to the creation of the National Park Service in 1916. - OUR STANDARDS
We Work With the Secretary of the Interior's Standards
Our work is regularly performed on buildings governed by the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. These standards inform how we approach both restoration and product design.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all rule, each project is evaluated based on its building, goals, and level of preservation required. In many cases, that means prioritising reversibility and minimal impact to historic material. In others, it means making thoughtful, permanent improvements where appropriate. Our experience working within these frameworks allows architects, consultants, and owners to move forward with confidence.
